Virat Kohli - The ICC ODI Cricketer of the Year, Virat Kohli won the most prestigious award, Cricketer Virat Kholi highest score, runs, average



In the recent ICC Award ceremony held in Colomo, Sri Lanka, Virat Kholi got the ODI Cricketer of the Year. The 32-member expert panel preferred Kohli, who beat off competition from his skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Sangakkara and Sri Lanka's pace spearhead Lasith Malinga. 




The award was for his huge pile of runs he scored in past 12 months. He scored 1733 runs in 31 matched he played at an average of 66.65 in which there are 8 centuries & 6half centuries. 

His scoring rate is unstoppable. The highest sore of Virat Knoli was against Pakistan in the match in which he made 183 runs in Asia Cup.

"I think I have tried to keep things as simple as possible and it's worked for me on the field. This year has been a learning curve along the way from the seniors in the team. It's been an all-round effort and I'm very happy to have won this award," Kohli said upon receiving the award.
